Mahler, Symphony No. 3

While I'm on my Mahler kick, I thought I'd include Symphony No. 3. My absolute favorite piece by Mahler. I've composed several of my pieces of art while listening to this symphony.

Symphony No. 3, Mahler
Vienna Philharmonic, 1973

Mahler, Symphony No. 5 in C Sharp Minor

I always enjoy listening to classical music, especially while painting. Mahler is one of my favorite composers; heres a lovely example.

"Landscapes", Levi van Veluw

Works from the series "Landscapes", 2008

"Play", Samuel Beckett

While on my Samuel Beckett kick, I thought I'd share this as well.
Once again, creepy, hard to understand, yet beautiful.

"Not I", Samuel Beckett

I've been looking to Samuel Beckett for inspiration recently, especially in his films. This piece, "Not I" is eerie, creepy, yet mesmerizing, which is one of the reasons why I love it.

Dave Ma

Dave Ma
One of those artists that I keep with with every so often. I love his idea of film and photography, and enjoy his keen eye.
Everything is so simple, yet beautiful.
